The Systems of a Membership-Based Business

Monday, April 23rd, 2007

Hi Creators!

It has been a really busy week. We just finished converting the NAWW website to a blogsite. Check it out www.naww.org – what do you think?

I really LOVE the new site! We plan on adding even more features later this year too. My Virtual Assistant, Erin Blaskie gets all the credit–she just rocks.

In the Create Your Association Blueprint I spend an entire section in chapter four (The Systems of a Membership-Based Business) talking about the different technology systems you should use to run a virtual membership group (of any kind) profitably. Wordpress is one of those technologies and it allows us to integrate all the Systems of a Membership-Based Business together.

If you are interested in the visual diagram below of all of those systems, e-mail me at info@createyourassn.com and I will e-mail you a PDF diagram.

Speaking of systems, I will be attending an upcoming conference called In the Dreaming Room the beginning of May with Michael Gerber, author of the eMyth books. They just opened up some seats at $500 each (regular cost is $3000) so this is a great opportunity.

Until next time-keep creating,

Did you know my Blueprint and Tool Kit contain over 8 inches of information on how to specifically run a virtual membership-based business?

Attracting Joint Ventures Is Easy With The Membership-Based Business Model

Tuesday, April 10th, 2007

Hi Creators!

I just finished doing a teleseminar with my AWE Expert, Stefanie Hartman for her new website, www.privatejvclub.com/naww and I was reminded yet again how AWESOME the membership-based business model is.

When you are a gatekeeper, you don’t even have to look for good joint venture partnerships. They come to you almost immediately after you build your group and launch it. I know this from experience and from networking with so many owners of companies using this model.

On the flip side, I also reach out and connect with people that I want to joint venture with too–Stefanie is a great example of this. And I had no problem connecting with her because she took one look at my membership-based businesses and saw somehting she liked. This is just one example, I included many more in the Blueprint.

Until next time-keep creating,

Sheri McConnell
