Smashing Money Barriers

Hi Creators!

Today, I want to talk about how to smash some of your current money barriers… I totally wish someone would have had this conversation with me during my first couple years!

To have the money you need to start, grow, and run your business:

  • You need to apply for capital through your bank or the Small Business Administration (I worked for free for the first two years and put all the money back into the company b/c I didn’t understand how to attract abundance or apply for working capital for my business)
  • You must buckle down (you have to have cash flow to build a company with a strong foundation)
  • You must learn from those who have done it–a tip or strategy from someone who is already doing it can literally change your entire business. (Just think of the results you will experience if you surround yourself with experts who already have the mindset you want to have!)
  • You should play a bigger game–map out what might seem like unattainable goals right now–I learned that YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE IT IS POSSIBLE BEFORE YOUR WILL TRY TO ACHIEVE IT
  • And finally you need to stop doing the “tasks” that don’t have a high-payoff in your business and life. Then replace them with ones that do.

Learning How To Work Less

Hi Creators!

It took me a long time when I first started the NAWW to learn how to work less. I am a very passionate entrepreneur and it was very hard for me to slow down. There is no shortage of new ideas and “bright shiny objects” for me to attend to. Sound familiar?

Here are just a few reasons why working less is so much smarter:

  • You are more creative and a nicer person to be around (you attract what you are)
  • You spend more time on strategy instead of the tasks
  • You do a better job for the higher paying clients you have and you attract more clients who pay your higher rates b/c you are doing a better job

HOW?

You delegate the busy work and you automate as much as possible using technology.

Attraction and Expert Status

Hi Creators!

Today is my oldest daughter’s 12th birthday. Before we head out to celebrate with a movie and a steak dinner, I wanted to talk about another benefit of owning membership-based businesses. (Besides the fact that I get to quit working early today and spend time with my kids!)

One of the best benefits of owning membership based-businesses is how easy it is for you to become an expert compared to many other businesses. When you are the gatekeeper to many talented people in a niche, you are automatically considered an expert! No questions asked. AND you can also leverage the knowledge and success of your membership too!

As a president of an association and an expert, it will be easier for you to secure columns in various publications and to get free publicity in general. Repetition is important because you are building relationships with readers for the long-term. But even when you are looked at as the expert, there is still a certain way you should do business if you want to attract abundant clients. Here are just a few pointers:

  • Pay attention to what you charge for your products and services because it is directly connected to who you attract
  • Target customers who have money to invest in themselves attract the customers you want by communicating their language
  • Attract abundance by networking with other abundant clients
  • Be a gatekeeper of a database of dynamic individuals
  • Over deliver with high-quality service/products
  • Don’t focus on price, do focus on quality
  • Look at how you dress (does your photo on your website attract abundant clients)
